revenue是收入的意思，而profit则是利润的意思，区别可以从以下例子看出：

I know there are huge revenue this week, but I understand there are lots of expenses, there is not much profit left after. 我知道这周有很大的收入，但我知道有很多费用，之后没有多少利润。

3、operatingrevenue和operatingincome有什么区别？

revenue一般指主营业务收入，一般出现在利润表中（income statement)profit 就是指利润，大多数地方都能用，经常出现在报表项目中比如PBIT=profit boefore interest&tax ，营业利润operating profitturnover的意思有点多：

1、指收入，营业额；

2、周转的意思，比如inventory turnover rate存货周转率;

3、staff turnover rate 人员变动率gain的意思应该是叫利得，指单笔交易收入扣除成本及费用之后的数字，比如gain of disposal of fixed assets 处置固定资产的利得income 意思也是收入，但这个词很少单独使用，一般都是与其他词合在一起形成专有名词，income statement 利润表 taxable income 应税收入 proceeds 一般指的单笔交易的收入所得，根据我的印象，一般都是用在处置的收入。比如你要表达处置金融资产的收入额，一般用proceeds from disposal of financial assets不用revenue 或者income。以上是我学习acca培养出的语感，不同国家的会计书还是有些差异的，仅供参考
